What Edge AI means at AIOROS
Edge AI is artificial intelligence that runs where the data is produced — in the store, the warehouse or the farm — instead of sending everything to a remote data center. At AIOROS, the "edge" is a Node: an NVIDIA Jetson board running pre-trained models for inference, connected to the customer's cameras, sensors or servers.
This is what we call Physical AI: AI models that read signals from the physical world (video, temperature, animal data) and help people act on them.

Real-time response
Inference happens next to the camera or sensor, so alerts do not wait for a round trip to a remote server.
Data privacy
Video and sensor data stay in your local server or your own cloud. AIOROS does not extract customer data unless you request technical support.
Works in remote or isolated sites
AIOROS solutions can run air-gapped — isolated from external networks — which suits farms, warehouses and sites with limited connectivity.
Less bandwidth
Only results need to travel, not hours of raw video or high-frequency sensor streams.
Built on NVIDIA Jetson
NVIDIA Jetson is NVIDIA's family of embedded computers designed to run AI at the edge. All AIOROS AI Employees currently run on Jetson boards. AIOROS provides a portfolio of pre-trained models optimized for inference on this hardware:

Private AI infrastructure, without building it yourself
Running AI on-premise usually means buying hardware, selecting models, training them and keeping them up to date. With AIOROS, that comes as a service: the Node arrives with a pre-trained model, it is retrained in your company during the trial, and the annual subscription covers technical support and monthly retraining with our engineers.
Each client sees the raw data and the AI Employee's analysis in a web dashboard with their own user account.
